About Me

My photo
SkinnyMommy
Hi! I'm Bree, and I am a busy business owner with two little boys who light up my whole world with their big smiles, contagious laughter, and funny commentary. Having children also turned my world upside down! I used to spend hours making complicated dinners while sipping wine and listening to relaxing music. Now? I eat half of my meals in the car and dinner is a constant struggle-with one child at my knees and the other calling out requests. I used to love waking up and spending 25 minutes on the treadmill or going to hour long yoga classes. Now by the time I get my kids off to daycare and sit down at my desk, I am ready for a nap! Unfortunately excercise has become a luxury that I don't get to take advantage of all that often. I have had to revamp how I cook, eat, and manage my life in order to stay fit. This means making foods that are both Skinny and fast. Because there are a lot of low-fat recipes and a lot of quick recipes, and not a ton that combine the two I have been on a journey to create my own. I am excited to share the recipes I have created or adapted to match my new (and crazy!) lifestyle with you. All Skinny Mommy recipes are original unless otherwise noted.
